You can safely defrost your frozen meat pack using any of the following methods:
Method 1: Refrigerator (Recommended)
Transfer the frozen meat pack from the freezer to the refrigerator and leave overnight. This is the safest method and helps retain freshness, flavour, and texture.
Method 2: Cold Water Bath
Place the sealed meat pack in a bowl of cold water. This method is highly recommended when you need to defrost the meat more quickly.
Method 3: Running Water
Open the package, place the meat in a bowl, and run clean water over it while gently separating the pieces. This method is not highly recommended but can be useful when you're short on time.
Method 4: Microwave Defrost
Use your microwave's "Defrost by Weight" function. Monitor carefully to avoid partially cooking the meat during the defrosting process.
