Beef suet is the raw fat, while beef tallow is the melted, purified oil made from suet. In simple terms, beef suet is what you melt to get tallow. Pure-quality tallow is gotten from the suet we sell.

WAYS TO DEFROST BEEF SUET
You can defrost your frozen beef suet using any of the following methods:
Method 1: Transfer the frozen beef suet from the freezer to the refrigerator overnight. This is the best method to defrost safely and retain its natural flavor and quality.
Method 2: Place the sealed beef suet pack in a bowl of cold water. This method is ideal when you need to defrost faster but still want to preserve the suet's texture.
Method 3: Open the package, place the beef suet in a bowl, and run cold water over it while gently pulling apart the fat. This method is quicker but may slightly affect the texture.
Method 4: Use a microwave with the "defrost" setting. Take care not to cook the suet while defrosting. Ensure it is only softened enough for use.
