Our 2.5kg Sirloin Steak is a clean cut from the lower back of the cow. It comes from muscles that don’t work too much, so the meat is soft, juicy, and has less fat.
Sirloin steak is great for Steak dishes and Nigerian meals like beef stew (obe ata), ofada sauce, or stir-fry. You can grill it, fry it in a pan, or cook it slowly in a pot to soak up all your tasty spices.
It’s a good choice for people who want healthy, protein-rich meat that still tastes amazing. At Meat Madam, our sirloin steak is fresh, well-trimmed, and easy to cook.

- This meat package contains a section of the carcass that runs from the last rib back towards the hipbone and from the backbone down to the flank which is at the stomach
- This meat is sourced from mature male Cow (bull).
- The meat is thoroughly cleaned and hygienically packaged without preservatives.
WAYS TO DEFROST - You can defrost your frozen meat pack(s) using any of the following methods.
Method1: Transfer frozen meat pack(s) from the freezer to the refrigerator overnight. This is the best method to defrost safely and retain freshness and flavour.
Method 2: Place the sealed pack of meat in a bowl of water. This method comes highly recommended if you don't have the luxury of defrosting overnight.
Method 3: Open the package, place the meat in a bowl, place under a running tap and pull apart. This is not highly recommended but best when pressed for time.
Method 4: Place in a microwave using the "defrost by weight function". Take care not to cook the meat in the process of defrosting.
