Ingredients:
Cleaned, washed white ponmo (cow skin)
Fresh pepper (to taste)
Garlic cloves (whole or slightly crushed)
Diced onions
Your preferred spice mix (e.g. curry, thyme, ginger, seasoning cubes, etc.)
Salt (just enough, not too much)
Water
Prep Steps:
Place your cleaned white ponmo into a mixing bowl.
Add salt, your chosen spices, garlic cloves, diced onions, and fresh pepper.
Pour in enough water to cover the ponmo, then stir thoroughly to combine everything.
🔥 Cooking Instructions:
Transfer the mixture into your pressure pot.
Let it come to a full boil, then continue boiling for about 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, turn off the heat but don’t open the pot yet. Let it cool naturally so the steam continues to soften the ponmo.
Once cooled, open your pot. Your white ponmo should be soft, well-flavored, and ready to use.
Now You've got a rich, spicy ponmo broth perfect for soups, stews, or sauces
